Goodnight blessed creatures.
To those who are sick and suffering
Let there be peace.
To those who have whiskers and brows
May they release their furrows and relax.
And breathe easily.
May they sleep well tonight
So they can do tomorrow’s work well.
For they are our beloved creatures
Who teach us about the open chambers,
The chambers of our hearts
That expand and explode with the deepest love.
Sleep well, so we may go on with our lessons.
Goodnight to our blessed friends.
May they wake to eat with vigor a glorious breakfast.
May they arrive at the morning hungry and happy.
May they drink and touch our hands for comfort.
May their eyes twinkle and squint in love.
May wet noses squish in our ears.
May their absolute innocence slay us.
May they take our breathe away
With just their essence.
May we be floored with the depth of their love.
Goodnight to you, our sweetest sublime fur friend.
Please sleep well and
Breathe .
Breathe easily.
Breathe deeply.
And in the morning
When it comes
Please walk steadily and with strength.
Please grace us with your passions and
Please eat well.
For it is in the eating that you are sustained.
Goodnight sweet creatures.
Breathe easily tonight.
For we love you with a depth
That is incomprehensible even to us.
For you little dog and cat and other fur friends remind us
That we are all connected.
And that there is always the deepest love
That surrounds us.
And is in us.
It is this love that binds us as forever friends.
May we all breathe a sigh in the morning that
We are together once again.
